Meet My Team

  • Cutie’s Mousey Doc (Mouse) 2004 QH mare

Mouse has been with me since I first started seriously studying horsemanship. She was patient and forgiving while I fumbled through the basics and we figured out how to navigate many obstacles together. We’ve competed in SHTX shows and gone through mounted police training schools. She has my full trust and I know I can count on her to take care of beginner riders when they are learning the feel of advanced movements. Today we dabble in bridle-less riding liberty competitions hosted by the International Liberty Horse Association (ILHA)

  • Talulah (Talli) 2015 mustang mare

Talli was gathered from Little Owyhee HMA and I adopted her in December 2017 from the Pauls Valley, OK corral. Her full name, Talulah, is of Choctaw origin and means “leaping waters”. We had a wet winter the year I adopted her and she didn’t like getting her feet wet. She was the first mustang I ever gentled and I love her innate ability to connect and read body language. She is spicy, expressive, brave and an excellent trail horse. Talli helped me cultivate a new level of self-awareness and taught me the importance of intention and energy.

  • Senara 2015 mustang mare

Senara was my 2020 Players Choice bid for the Extreme Mustang Makeover competition in Ft. Worth and was gathered from Rock Creek HMA. Her name has Cornish roots and means “light” or “new dawn”. She has a calming presence and an old soul that led me to explore new avenues of connection. Initially reserved and skeptical, liberty training and positive reinforcement helped create an environment where she felt safe to engage. Once she came out of her shell, Senara proved to be an amazingly light, perceptive and willing partner.
